WOLVERINE CLOTH CAMERA-LAPTOP COMBO BACKPACK Recognizing how Photographers travel and what they carry on these days, Wolverine is offering an excellent combination of Photo/Laptop backpacks. The backpack is made of soft cloth material and has a separate laptop compartment that is nicely padded, and fits any 17" laptop with ease. The camera compartment offers padded inserts that can fit multiple cameras, lenses, and more. One very pleasing aspect of this bag is the weight. Some backpacks can add unnecessary poundage to your load. At 6 lbs it can be lifted with one finger. And the external dimensions - 10x14x20" are well within carryon limits for all domestic and international airlines (max 45" total).

 "Holds enough" 2009-07-01
By Scott Case (Thornton, CO United States)
I had purchase a Lowe bag, but it was too small and I returned it. This bag really holds a lot. I mounted a vertical grip on my Nikon D90 and I lay it on its side with a small lense attached. I have a 75-200, 35-70, 18-50, and 50 mm lenses, and a SP600 in the bottom section. The rest of the bag holds everything else, and my 13 inch Macbook. Also, the tripod holder is really cool. This bag is built with complete supports for carrying over the long haul. Fully loaded, it's no lightweight, but it does the job. I'm 6'4" and weigh 260 lbs. and it fits me well, and the adjustments appear to be okay for smaller people as well.

"Does Not Fit 17" Laptop" 2009-06-24
By Christian C. Flook (trinidad and tobago)
I bought this bag because the description said it fits a 17" Laptop. IT DOES NOT FIT a 17" Laptop. I have a 17" Macbook Pro and it doesn't FIT! Very annoying!

 "Wolverine Camera/Laptop Backpack" 2009-06-04
By Michele T (Chicago, IL)
I bought this for my husband who travels to China for business. He found it very helpful to put the laptop, camera and many other items in this bag and be able to use it as his carry on bag on the plane. There are many pockets and we really liked the fabric and sturdy frame. We took someone elses advice and looked up how to fit a backpack and he found the pack to be very comfortable to walk around with. Now he can put everything he needs in one bag. Getting the laptop in did take some maneuvering but he got the hang of it after a time or two. We again read someone elses review of how to get it in there. All in all we are very happy with this purchase.

"Very well made pack but fills up quickly" 2009-04-18
By Derek Scearce (Atlanta, GA)
This pack is incredibly durable. Everything is well made and well put together, and the cloth it's made out of is strong and water resistant (the rain cover has also been very useful). It is also pretty comfortable. With that said, I am a little disappointed with how little I can fit inside of this pack. From the outside it looks HUGE. I believe it may be due to the fact that it is very well padded, which could be a plus. Also I don't use the laptop sleeve which is located between your back and the rest of the pack. This is sadly NOT removable. The bottom portion with the camera section is, however. With it removed you can only get a fair amount of stuff inside the pack, as it is very oddly shaped... Tall and flat. With the camera section installed, the top section is pathetically small. There are however a ton of pockets located all around the pack which have come in handy. I would recommend this pack if you need something that above all is rugged and well made. But don't expect to take everything with you. I have already begun searching for a less conspicuous pack to carry with me around Europe.

"I wonder if the designer ever wore a backpack?" 2009-03-11
By Fire Boy (Southwest Washington State)
This pack has straps that do nothing and buckles that are placed in such a fashion that they continually remind you of their presence in unfortunate ways. Luckily, with the use of a knife, you can rid the pack of the many useless straps and buckles. Even the straps meant to support the pack's load in conjunction with the shoulder straps are useless, however, I left them intact to be a backup if the shoulder straps should fail. The pack carries my Macbook and a 5D with a lens or two, and it does stuff into the overhead on most flights. It looks plain and when you are carrying thousands of dollars of electronics in it, that is a real bonus. It almost (with the use of a knife again) allows me to access my camera using the lower, zippered compartment similarly to a "sling" pack. It is a lot of okay, not the most well designed, but useful.
