My dell vostro 1720 fit perfectly inside the sleeve and the bag is very sturdy. It is a keeper and I only paid 22.65 on sale from Amazon.

I love this bag. It is perfect for my needs on a daily basis as well as it will make airline travel much easier than carrying a standard type laptop bag. The dimensions listed are for the entire bag not the laptop sleeve. My 18" laptop stuck out an inch but was with in the listed dimensions.
