Bought this for teenager who travels frequently for sports competition. She takes laptop and school work with her. The bag protects her computer well, and there is enough room for other personal items, too. Fits under seat and in overhead compartment in commercial airplane. The color isn't exciting, but it does a good job hiding the smudges. It has held up well for about nine months. It's been coast to coast and to South America.

I purchased this bag needing a all in one, on the go laptop backpack. This is by far the best quality and well thought out bag I have ever owned. The pockets are a great size and hold a wide variety of items. The quality is top notch, the zippers are strong and durable. Finally a backpack that I feel safe in knowing my laptop is protected!!
The bag did come with some fabric piece that Velcro's closed and has Velcro to attach to the inside bottom of the bag. Not really sure what it is intended for, but it is making a great power converter holder.

This bag is awesome!
You can actually fit a computer and a portable printer easily, also has a lot of compartments where you can put all sort of stuff.
I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Look, I ordered two laptop backpacks, and a laptop sleeve. I'm rating all items below a three except for this Microsoft Backpack. I just got back from the TAXI ROAD RALLY music business convention, and wow. Honestly, this backpack is incredible. I fix three days worth of clothes, my laptop, charger, wallet, toiletries, etc. Literally, I stuffed this thing so tight, I thought the zipper would pop off. I got numerous compliments, and inquiries on the quality of the backpack, and it's perfect size. The pic of the backpack does not do it justice. I'm a mac guy, and my 13 inch laptop fits great inside, even though it can hold a 17inch very snug. It even has a chest clip on the front, to keep the weight off of your shoulders, and more evenly on your back... Cons, sorry... None. There is an MP3 holder with a headphone hole, a place to hold your biz cards and flyers, a small cd case, great back padding, Velcro to keep your laptop in place, and (drum roll please)
********THE COOLEST WALLET / KEYS / VALUABLES easy access pouch, which is 6 inches deep.
I am a mac guy. Microsoft, eh.... This backpack? Amazing.

I looked at hundreds of packs before picking this one, and I'm not unhappy with it at all. It is very well constructed, unlike some of the cheaper packs. It is just the right size for what I wanted, and easily holds my laptop plus all the accessories, plus all of my work. I carry it on a small pull cart, and then transfer to a backpack when needed. The only thing I would change is the flip-up front panel. It makes it more difficult to get into the front of the pack; also the velcro was weak holding it down and it came loose alot. I fixed that by adding some more velcro patches and now it is much more secure.
